The good guys get the map coordinates for the remote satellite control location and enter them into a GPS mounted in an SUV. But by the time they get the coordinates, almost all of the satellites in orbit have been damaged or destroyed. Since all GPS map units need signals from at least 3 satellites to obtain a location, it should have been impossible to obtain an accurate map.
While obtaining remote access to the Resonator satellite by breaking the encryption, a console screen is briefly visible with the word "encryption" misspelled "encryptoin" on one of the lines.
The coordinates given for the remote satellite control site are said to be an abandoned mine. But the actual location 42.4N 123.8W (42.4N 123.8E is Shenyang in China) is in the middle of the Rogue River National Forest in Oregon.
42.4N 123.8E is not Shenyang, its in fact just out side of the city Tieling, Liaoning, China. know this as been there in China for many years.
When Rothman restates the coordinates in the truck, he mixes up latitude and longitude. He gives a latitude of 123 degrees, which is impossible.
