In the flashbacks in Gibbs' basement, Mike Franks is shown to have 5 fingers on his right hand. However, he was shown lost his trigger finger in Rule Fifty-One (2010) after a gun battle with Paloma Reynosa's hired men.
When EJ is telling her team to gear up in the squad room, her hair is down. When they are at the crime scene it is French braided. Later, back at the squad room, it is back to being down and completely straight. No sign it was ever braided.
when NCIS Special Agent Ziva David is in the lift on her way to meet up with Ray Cruz, she is talking to NCIS Special Agent Erica Jane 'EJ' Barrett, she no longer has the permanent marker line left round her throat by Lieutenant Jonas Cobb.
When they are giving honors at the cemetery, it is apparent the M16/AR15 rifles are not actually being fired, but just put in position. When the rapport is heard, the bolt carriers do not move. During such ceremonies blanks are fired and usually with enough gas pressure to cycle the weapon. Even if they used a less powerful blank, they would need to cycle the bolt manually by noticeably pulling the charging handle, which they don't.
Abby refers to Arnica, Butcher's Broom and Bitterwort as homeopathy oils but these are plants. Even if she meant that the sample contained oils extracted from these plants, the equipment would not have detected them. Homeopathic 'remedies' are prepared by repeatedly diluting an extract until there is no detectable trace of the original material left.
During the 21 gun salute at the Honors ceremony, you can hear the sound of bolt action rifles being worked when they move away from what are clearly semi-automatic rifles.
Opposite the name 'Bloodwort' on Abby's computer monitor is the chemical formula 'CH2O2' in parentheses. This is formic acid or another organic compound with the same composition, none of which have anything to do with bloodwort (Gentiana lutea).
During the 21 gun salute at Mike Franks' funeral, no recoil from the rifles is shown.
In the last half of the Pyramid episode when Sec. of the Navy Phillip Davenport is walking down the hallway, just about to confront Navy Lt. Jonas Cobb and his hostages, the silhouette of a second cameraman is visibly reflected on the left wall apparently caused by some back-lighting. This image appears at around 33 to 34 minutes into the story.
The Port-to-Port Killer is known to be a professional, CIA-trained assassin who has killed three NCIS agents so far and targeted three more. And the case is important enough to draw the direct personal attention of the Secretary of the Navy. Yet when moving the P2P Killer through NCIS headquarters, NCIS sees fit to assign him just one escorting guard (who lets other NCIS agents and employees into the elevator with him) and a simple pair of handcuffs, as if the P2P Killer is no more dangerous than their average white-collar criminal.
