The satirical spy-thriller “The Sympathizer” hopes to make a mark at the Primetime Emmys this year, as HBO/Max has submitted the show for 27 Emmy categories. The hopeful bids from creators Park Chan-wook and Don McKellar include acting recognition for breakout performer Hoa Xuande and superstar Robert Downey Jr., as well as outstanding limited or anthology series.
Based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s 2015 debut novel, “The Sympathizer” tells the story of “The Captain” (Xuande), a North Vietnamese soldier in the South Vietnamese army who is forced to flee to the United States with his general near the end of the Vietnam War. While living within a community of South Vietnamese refugees, he continues to spy on the community, struggling between his original loyalties and his new life.

My Hero Academia Chapter 420 is out, and we can finally enjoy the full story and the preparation for the final battle against All For One. Of course, we have already talked about the leaks that came out last week, but there might be those of you who did not read that article as you don’t like spoilers, which is why the content of Chapter 420 might come as a surprise for you. But, while this chapter did not advance the plot that much, it was a great introduction that certainly helped us prepare for the upcoming fight.
The most important moment is, of course, Deku’s return, and in this article, we are actually going to explain what happened and how Deku, who had lost his arms earlier, is now back in the game and will help his allies and friends fight against All For One in the upcoming chapters.

The leaks for the upcoming My Hero Academia Chapter 420 are finally out in Japan and we get to know what happens in the thrilling upcoming chapter of Kohei Horikoshi’s popular manga series. Last week’s chapter presented us with the conclusion of the fight between Deku and Tomura, as well as foreshadowed All For One’s return, as it turned out that a small fragment of All For One’s evil soul was still left in Tomura.
And while Midoriya almost succeeded in swaying Tomura back to normal, the reappearance of All For One Changed everything, as a new battle was about to begin. But, before All For One could do anything, several of Izuku’s allies arrived on the scene!

My Hero Academia Chapter 419 was officially released on April 7, 2024, and while fans are heating up for the upcoming chapter, which is set to be released on April 14, 2024, the fans’ impressions of – as many claim – one of the series’ best chapters are still quite hot and people are still discussing the events from Chapter 419, whose official title was “Design”.
Now, the chapter showed us several important moments in the story, most of which were related to the stories of Izoku and Tomura, but there was also a major scoop related to All For One, the series’ biggest villain, who showed off his new form and is ready to begin a new fight against the heroes.
We know that the previous chapters were focused on the clash between Midoriya and Tomura, as the former was trying to calm the latter down and bring back his humanity. And just as it seemed that...

The battle between Deku and Shigaraki in My Hero Academia has shifted tremendously with All for One appearing as a vestige in Shigaraki’s mental realm and essentially taking over the body of the antagonist. This changed the whole storyline as All for One was supposed to be dead and Deku was supposed to change the mind of Shigaraki and bring him to the good side.
All for One Return’s To My Hero Academia
All for One appearing in Shigaraki’s mind although may bring a lot of trouble for the heroes, does make the story interesting. The last chapter showed that All for One might have controlled Shigaraki’s life from the start and even gave him the quirk that helped him destroy everything he hated. However, the spoilers of Chapter 419 have confirmed all of it.
The chapter that is scheduled to be released on April 7, 2024, saw its...

One of the best anime and manga series of all time, My Hero Academia by Kohei Horikoshi is moving towards its conclusion as the story is finally working on the last battle of the series between Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of My Hero Academia, and Shigaraki Tomura, the primary antagonist of the series.
My Hero Academia
As the battle goes on, Deku(Izuku Midoriya) is trying to save Shigaraki from the depth of darkness, by changing the villain’s past. However, this is not easy as the secondary antagonist and the perpetrator of the entire battle, All for One has finally made a return to the series, making the job even more difficult for Deku.
Not only that, All for One’s return in My Hero Academia Chapter 418 has confirmed one of the saddest fan theories about the villain Shigaraki Tomura. This theory proves that All for One is the...

This is going to be a unique viewing experience for fans around the world (excluding Asia) and shows just how much effort Crunchyroll is putting into its streaming service.
On top of that, and that is also something we have written about earlier, Crunchyroll will also simulcast the My Hero Academia: Memories special, which is going to be a special four-episode event recapping the series from Deku’s entrance exam training for U.A. High School in Season 1 all the way through the Dark Hero arc in Season 6. These episodes will also be simulcast on a weekly basis from Japan,...

Deku, the quirkless protagonist of My Hero Academia, sets a prime example of an underdog’s tale. His lack of a quirk is what made him a prime recipient of One For All, and set the stage for his conquests. Yet, a recent theory that has the power to topple everything you know suggests that Deku’s original quirk was stolen.
As you know, 80% of the population in My Hero Academia has quirks, and the other 20% don’t. A fan theory suggests that 20% of people might have a minor quirk or something that they never had to use.
Someone could have the quirk of breathing in space, but they will never know their quirk because they have never been to space. They might be immune to poisons, or they can converse with alligators, but they have never encountered one. All For One, for example, seemed quirkless but could transfer quirks.

The recent events in the My Hero Academia manga have revealed that the series is on the verge of its end. The two main characters Izuku Midoriya and Shigaraki Tomura are involved in a battle that looks like the conclusion of the series. Kohei Horikoshi’s masterpiece has truly entertained anime and manga fans for years.
My Hero Academia
As the series is reaching its conclusion, there are still some mysteries that are yet to be solved in the series. One of the most important ones among them is Izuku Midoriya’s father. The series has spanned over 400 chapters but Izuku’s father has still not been revealed making him probably the biggest mystery of the series.
Multiple theories talk about Izuku’s father, but almost all of them majorly point to All for One, the antagonist of the series. Although he died recently in the manga, it doesn’t...

Donald Trump said that he would “encourage” Russia to “do whatever the hell they want” to NATO allies if those allies don’t contribute enough defense spending to the alliance, and Sen. Marco Rubio seems to be totally fine with that. The Republican said Sunday that he has “zero concern” about the former president’s remarks.
At a South Carolina rally on Saturday, Trump told a story where he claimed that he was speaking to a fellow leader of a NATO member country who asked him what the U.S.

There were the three musketeers and now…we can expect to see that number shoot up to four in Houda Benyamina‘s long-awaited sophomore film project. Lou de Laâge leads Daphné Patakia, Héloise Letissier with Oulaya Amamra and Déborah Lukumuena (who both broke out in Benyamina’s debut) in Toutes pour une (which translates to All For One). Production takes place this month in France. Production companies include Easy Tiger and Haut et court in France, and Versus Production from Belgium.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 22
“People who experience setbacks in life are called villains.”
There’s no clear roadmap on how to become a hero and there are endless paths that lead to the same goal. My Hero Academia features a diverse cast of heroes with eclectic backstories and motivations, but it’s a series that always celebrates teamwork, celebration, and how people are strongest when they work together rather than isolate themselves. Some of My Hero Academia’s most powerful moments are battle climaxes where two characters deliver the finishing blow in tandem. There’s no victory in My Hero Academia that’s not stronger when shared with a friend. Deku continues to head down a dark and dangerous path, but “Friend” is an emotional installment that attempts to remind the hero about what’s important before it’s too late.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 21
“A public face and a secret face. You need both to keep going”
A wide array of heroes and villains make up My Hero Academia’s society, some of which are better adjusted than others. This season has shown many characters’ masks slipping and the different approaches that heroes–and villains–must adopt in order to survive. Lady Nagant was a Pro Hero, but her malaise over society’s hypocrisy and her inability to properly compartmentalize ultimately lost her her future as a hero.
Lady Nagant is a character whose accumulation of compounded weight and trauma reinforces that not everyone is built for this line of work. For every Deku there are a dozen characters like Lady Nagant. “The Lovely Lady Nagant” is an exceptional episode of the series that features engaging action and a catastrophic character arc,...

“So then, who will be the next leader?”
The season premiere of My Hero Academia was bogged down with backstory and playing catch up, but it’s an episode that still looked exclusively at the heroes of this world. The heroes in this show are obviously the focus, but they only make up half of a very complex picture. “Overhaul” devotes some solid attention to the livelihood of the League of Villains following the defeat of All For One. In doing so, these first two episodes of the fourth season function as an effective whole that indicates the state of both the heroes and the villains.

Although I’ve been historically critical of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s Bill and Ted inspired method of teaming up with historical figures, I can’t deny that the series has been on an upswing in terms of quality in recent weeks. And, from what we can tell, “Camelot/3000” looks to find a nice blend of the established formula and mining DC Comics’ rich mythology.
If anything, fans will want to tune in not only to see the return of the Justice Society of America, who have been scattered throughout time and tasked with protecting fragments of the Spear of Destiny from the Legion of Doom, but also to see the Waverider crew travel to at least two drastically different time periods.

Knowing we’re at the home stretch, The CW is not content to rest on its laurels and continues to circulate promotional materials leading up to the big DC TV four-show crossover. Earlier this week, they released new posters for each show (check them out here and here) as well as a brief new trailer.
The latest promo video comes in the form of a nifty new clip hyping the portion of the crossover belonging to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. This black and white found footage-style reel sees the Dominators being met with military force and is highly reminiscent of 1950’s era science fiction movies, something quite appropriate for a show that deals in time travel.

It's thought that the Dominators will arrive on Earth-1 to take on - or take out - metahumans as they look to create their own, but a new video for Legends of Tomorrow points to them having visited Earth before. Based on what we see below, that was during the second World War, and considering the fact that's when the Justice Society of America was around, perhaps they'll also show up in the crossover! We'll just have to wait and see, but it will be interesting to see if we get any more teasers like this over the next few days. Do you guys have any theories about what this video might mean? Sound off below. You've read the descriptions for Supergirl, The Flash, and Arrow, but now The CW has released the synopsis for "Invasion!" the final part of the four night event (though considering the fact that it won't kick off until the final few moments of Supergirl, it's more like a three parter). Taking place in Legends of Tomorrow, the finale is clearly going to be huge as the heroes look to take out the Dominators. Chances are they'll succeed - these shows wouldn't have much to do moving forward if the heroes lose - but it should be interesting to see what long lasting ramifications the event has for the DC TV Universe. Perhaps the most intriguing reveal here is related to the aberration cause by Stein in 1987, the year the Legends first crossed paths with the Reverse-Flash. Could it be tied to his younger self?
