If you thought the last episode was hard to follow, this one is even worse. I kept questioning if something was a part of the play or if we were being shown something else. Again, exquisitely shot and the big blow out with Cassie and Maddie was as exciting as expected. Same with the showdown at Fez's house, went as expected, but was still good and entertaining. Makes me incredibly curious to see what happens in season 3 and where the show can be brought from this point forward. The other part of the episode that I did not like was the soundtrack for this episode. It was difficult coming off of episode 7, which had gorgeous sweeping symphonies and fantastic use of licensed music track to go with the tantalizing imagery on display. Episode 7 was absolutely hypnotic compared to this finale. Main reason why I'm giving it an 8 instead of a 10. Should have made one more episode, and maybe put these last 2 episodes together as the finale. Would've felt more natural in transition and there are still some very unexplained things going on. When is Rue going to get caught up with the lady she owes is probably my biggest question. I mean it's been like 4 episodes since that happened. Something should have happened, but no. Just another loose end.
