I want to start by saying, I really am behind what this film was trying to do. I'm a very big fan of David Lynch and slow paced, mood inticing atmospheric films. However, I could barely sit through this film. For the first 10 minutes I was intrigued by the unique style and I thought this would be right up my street but as the film progressed, the pace just didn't shift one bit. Over pretentious and boring until the final scene with was nice. The cinematagrophy was certainly unique and you could almost breathe in the air of the setting. I think that's all well and good as long as you have some kind of reason to keep you interested; it should accompany the story, not be it in my opinion.
