Slightly overdone but still pleasantly riotous
It is your 21st and have a big interview the morning after, so partying is a no-go even your strict dad says so. That is the case, until your very close friends surprise you and will not hear another word; to them 21st equals hard partying, period!
This is one of the more hilarious films of recent times and although the Hollywood tendency to go over the top is ever present, yet it has good humour and allows us to penetrate a little deeper inside the leading characters.
What started as an innocent night out goes pretty bad, but it happens for a purpose as true friends would not give up trying to rescue their buddy...at any cost. In the process they find out stuff about one another that needn't establish in this way which causes a revaluation of their friendship.
Despite having been overdone during certain moments, this is an utterly enjoyable experience with a generous dose of riotousness.
