Contrary to belief, the Rakht Charitra duo-logy is not a true bilingual filmed separately Hindi and Telugu languages. Scenes involving some of the Hindi actors were completely dubbed over in Telugu. However, scenes involving Vivek Oberoi, Shatrurangan Sinha and others have the correct lip sync in Telugu despite their voices being dubbed over by Telugu artists in the final cut.
For tamil actor Suriya, this is by far his only debut movie in the hindi & telugu languages & had provided the lip sync & dubbing in Hindi, with the sole exception of the scene where his character has an emotional outburst with the Chandu, which was dubbed by another hindi artist. For the telugu versions, Suriya's voice was dubbed over despite the correct lip sync.
