A heart felt, educational, funny and just well rounded movie you shouldn't miss !

Excellent movie ! Definitely a must see for anyone in the mood for a heartfelt, educational, funny and just well rounded movie !...it was an eye opening experience (there's just not enough of those) !! Great job everyone on such an amazing picture.. and skateistan on a cause so immeasurably generous and kind. The children and skaters seemed to have such a great time together. Something those kids (it seems) don't get all too much of. The people of skateistan really take "helping those in need" to a whole nother level, by teaching, understanding, giving and "hands on" involving them selves with the youth of Kabul. Keep up the good work everyone !! great movie !!

Heart Warming Glimpse!

Important Movie! I loved to see Afghanistan a different way than what has been shown us the last 10 years or maybe even longer! This movie is a heart opener for anyone interested in Youth, Skateboarding or Afghanistan! It gives a good view into the lives of children and teenagers in general but also the teen girls, who shall not be seen skateboarding in public when they reach teenage age. The Australian main figure is a great candidate to be watching as he goes through the limits of being a western and having the desire to help the country in a very unconventional way. I enjoyed watching Cairo Foster, Louisa Menke and the other two experiencing the country, going through thoughts and views about the middle east and coming to own results. There is also a German ramp builder introduced which I adored, watching him work with the kids was one of the highlights for me!
