Interesting illustrations of certain phases of human life
A Western picture, full of life and sparkling with comedy. It is presented with all the finish and close attention to details which are characteristic of the Powers films. It keeps the audience in excellent humor, and develops numerous funny situations as it runs, each one better than the one previous. "His Lordship" will be popular with all Independent patrons as long as it is shown. There is a quality about the Powers plays that can scarcely be described, yet unquestionably this quality is what adds to their popularity and holds the attention of those who see them. They seem to touch the human note, offering interesting illustrations of certain phases of human life which are common to everyone, and there possess extraordinary power in pleasing or arousing the emotions. - The Moving Picture World, October 8, 1910
