A fat and a thin married couple are seized by the fear of aging: marriage, job, sex suddenly become problematic for them, and everyone tries in their own way to escape this fear. The slimming diet of the two fat people also exposes the circumstances of their living together with their nerves: "Eat, read, rot a little, that's it!" Love is just the fear of being alone. The story of a fat woman gradually becomes the story of her self-liberation.
