The so-called Fallen Angels Murder Club is a small band that meets regularly as a book club. But their true calling is solving difficult murder cases. Always nattily attired, they are the crimebusters!

In this episode, there are two murders that the club is investigating concurrently. A problem with the film was the sluggish pacing. Often the actors seemed to be wandering around aimlessly on a movie set reading their lines without a lot of urgency.

The film merits three stars for the costuming. Some of the outfits were stunning. But as a crime drama, the effect was lackluster. The most interesting character was the tech specialist named Miller. He was a wizard behind the computer, and it was due to his efforts that the crimebusters succeeded in their quest.

Unfortunately, the "Fallen Angels Murder Club" is not going to rival the Mission: Impossible team. The qualities of suspense, dramatic tension, and plot twists were hard to come by in this superficial thriller.

Sorry, but I can't get on board with the whole cast's opinion of dead Jeffery. The viewers learn Jeffery was a parole officer and a person of modest means. However, we also learn he cheated on his wife, he accepted a $5 million payoff for a family member's medical bills, and then he hid the money in an offshore bank account. I root for good guys-Jeffery is not!
