Homage To Eternal Youth

Warning: Spoilers
This last show for Clark maintained the spirit of American Bandstand that Clark started in Philadelphia many years ago. It presents the music that kids are listening too by the stars who are making it. It does the same type of interviews Clark did on Bandstand for many years. Ryan Secrest and others working around Producer Clark do a good job.

Sadly, this one is the last time around for Clark though he always looked so young until he had the stroke a few years back, many of us thought he would be here forever. In a way though, his youthful spirit is still here with us. American Idol and other music and dance shows have proved that many times over in recent years.

While Clark will be missed, I have a feeling New Years Rockin Eve will continue. Americas Spirit did not die with Clark. There might be some changes as the torch is passed. This show replaced my parents generation of Guy Lomboardo. What will be interesting is what changes are coming and how things will evolve for 2013.

Stay tuned America for the best is yet to come. Maybe a good movie about New Year's Eve can't be made, but television caught the essence of the holiday many years ago. I don't expect that to stop now.
