Ford Commercial "Val Kilmer." Bowling for Soup. It's like a movie trailer.
Ryan pimps the "Idol" 10th anniversary CD which everyone in the audience is getting.
We get a video package of the "Idols" talking about what America doesn't know about them. Example: Scotty McCreery can wiggle his ears.
Results: He calls up Jacob, Lauren, and Casey. They are all safe. Next up are Haley and Paul. Haley is in the bottom three.
Performance: "Beautiful Like You," Lee Dewyze. It's a mid-tempo pop rocker. He sounds good but the song isn't much. Lee tells Ryan it's good to be back. He tells the folks on the couches that they'll be fine no matter happens.
Results: Up next Pia, Scotty, and James. They're all safe. Up next Stefano and Naima. Naima is in the bottom three and Stefano is safe. Finally comes Karen and Thia. Karen is in the bottom three and Thia is safe.
Performance: Black Eyed Peas, "Just Can't Get Enough." Will.i.am dedicates the song to the people of Japan.
Ryan sends Naima back to safety.
Going Home: Karen since the judges decline to use the save after her rendition of "Hero" by Mariah Carey. (Randy says it was not unanimous).
