A prank of a movie

Warning: Spoilers
"Epicalypse Now" is a 2008 movie by writer and director for Daryush Shokof. It is black-and-white, runs for six minutes and basically tells us the story of an elderly couple who fake seizures or other health issues in order to scam money out of people. However, we are supposed to believe the strange occurrence that people would just throw bills at people suffering a seizure in public. this does not make any sense. Same goes for the title. This has nothing to do with the Coppola classic nor is there any reference to the apocalypse in this film. I guess Shokof just liked the play on words. He made quite a few more movies and has the most prolific body of work from the cast. The two lead actors have basically worked on nothing else in their "careers". Early on and in the end we see the couple practice their fake attacks. Pretty forgettable short movie if you ask me. The rating on this page very much baffles me Probably a case of vote stuffing. There is nothing in this film that justifies such a high score. Not recommended. Or watch it and rate it, so we can adjust the vote.
