Vorrei averti qui by Angelo Antonucci

The stories about alcoholism are one of the most important topics as it is still, one of the greatest issues which is still present around the world. Most of the main characters would tell the stories, in their point of view to see how does it feel to be alcoholic. Some of these stories would end in good way, as the main characters would find a better future. Other stories would end in bad way, as the main characters would face unexpected consequences. Some of these stories can be also based on real events which would give inspirations on how, to not become alcoholic as most of these stories can be realistically tragic. The independent filmmaker Angelo Antonucci seems interested, to tell a story about alcoholism based on a real event. Most of these independent movies would capture the audience attention, by showing how these filmmakers through their career would evolve themselves to become then top filmmakers. In 2010 came out Vorrei averti qui by Angelo Antonucci, who also plays in the movie and with the participation of Philippe Leroy. The movie's plot: Samy (Katia Oliveto Bellucci) is an alcoholic eighteen years old girl, who would spent most of her time with her friends to have drinks. Since Samy would meet Steven (Angelo Antonucci) who is a saxophonist, she would try to get a better future. There would be expectations to be surprised by the movie, as it was independently released and most of the actors are unknown. Except Philippe Leroy who is one of the most important actors, to have participated more than hundred movies. Instead the movie is not a surprising picture as most of the actors, cannot show any kind of believable performances. Especially on the scenes that are supposed to be intense which are instead laughable, as the actors would show lack of expressions in the course of the story. Even Philippe Leroy was the only actor, who acted close to be a decent performance. The editing was elaborated by not create, any rhythm to capture the audience attention. Even the narration was supposed to be workable as the theme is serious, the result would make the scenes laughable by distracting the audience. The camera does not work to create, any unforgettable or even emotional shots. The score doesn't create any emotional atmospheres for any kind of scenes as its rhythm, doesn't connect with the scenes including the most emotional ones. Vorrei averti qui is one of the worst movies of all time.
