Davey's gets new ice skates and wants to go skating on the pond but his mother tells him the ice is not thick enough.
A very good episode, one of the best of Season 1. A funny scene at the beginning when Goliath gets rolled into a giant snowball. This is the first time we hear Goliath say "I don't know, Davey" which he would do many times in the series. This is also the first appearance of Davey's friend Jimmy, he is the one who convinces Davey to skate on the ice. The ice cracks and Davey falls through. He is rescued but worried what his mom will say. The lesson here is the power of forgiveness.
