As long as you live in the right cities, anyway. Paul V. Seetachitt’s “Rock Jocks” is coming to a city near you. Well, if your city happens to have an Alamo Drafthouse theater in it. At the moment, the movie will only be appearing in 5 cities, with moviegoers in the Houston screening getting a Q&A with actor Andrew Bowen, while Felicia Day will be doing similar duties for the Austin screening. For a complete list of locations/dates, see below. Rock Jocks tells the story of one night in the offices of a group of dysfunctional government employees who must save the Earth by shooting down any and all asteroids that threaten our planet using special laser-equipped satellites in orbit. Starring Gerry Bednob, Andrew Bowen, Justin Chon, Felicia Day, Jason Mewes, Doug Jones, and Kevin Wu. After its screening tour, the movie will hit DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on August 13, 2013. Tue.

Besides kicking off the summer-movie season – fun fact time -- May is also Asian-American and Pacific-Islander Heritage Month in the United States.
Asians have traditionally been the least-represented ethnic group in Hollywood, whether on television or films. But we've come a long way since David Carradine squinted through "Kung Fu," or the embarrassing stereotypes of houseboys, geishas, and Long Duk Dong (damn you, black eye on "Sixteen Candles"). Today, Asians on primetime and multiplexes are sexy, funny, and taking on leading roles.
We're celebrating the month by profiling 10 young and talented Asian (which we expanded to include a couple of South Asian performers) rising stars.
Brenda Song
A child model of Hmong heritage, Song landed a lucrative Disney contract at age 14. The Mouse House cast her in supporting roles in its made-for-tv movies and as the air-headish hotel heiress in the popular tween series "The Suite Life" and its spinoff "The Suite Deck,...
