- Malaysia brings back painful memories in Juliane Wenzel. Her husband Jürgen, with whom she started a trade in Southeast Asian antiques, went missing there with his boat a few months ago. The authorities and Juliane assume that he is no longer alive. While son Oliver takes care of the business in Germany, Juliane has to go back to Malacca because her office there was broken into. The local police urgently need a list of the stolen items. Juliane begins to clear up the chaos and discovers that documents are missing, especially various invoices. Jürgen's former colleague Dalina has a copy of the missing papers, which is saved on an external hard drive. The two women were particularly interested in the delivery notes from an opaque company from which Jürgen obtained strikingly valuable antiques. You start doing research on your own. With the help of the friendly art dealer Mohan Belani, whom she met at the airport, Juliane finds out that the company in question is apparently a mailbox company. A terrible thought germinates in Juliane: Was Jürgen involved in criminal business? Sinister guys who have been following her for a long time fuel this suspicion. At the same time, it turns out that Mohan is obviously not who he claims to be either. Who can Juliane still trust? Alone Dalina, with whom she soon becomes friends, seems to be a real ally, but she also hides important information. More surprises await Juliane.—ARD Das Erste
