Overall, a short film lovingly done, and that will make a lasting impression. It is set in a natural beachside habitat, with the cinematography cutting between flocks of birds and the performers, strutting like the flocks they mimic. It is dance, but directly in service to nature.
Did it teach me a little about dance? From a dance perspective it was amazing to see someone rethink dance in the context of natural wildlife feeding off each others energy.
Will I see something new in nature? Perhaps I shall see dance as wilful and spontaneous rather than mathematical. I think sometimes we see the envelope of existence rather than the interaction, especially when looking through an anthropocentric lens.
