Juan Conte is a world-renowned atheist author. He often debates with priests and rabbis, presenting strong and challenging arguments. His coldness and self-confidence know no bounds, until he suffers a heart attack. After receiving a transplant, a change will begin in his personal life after meeting Miriam, a nurse who admires him and seems to share his lack of belief, opening up the possibility of having a relationship for the first time. The couple begins to be stalked by a mysterious man, who is later killed by a shadowy, strange figure. Looking for peace, Juan and Miriam settle in her house in the country, but the mysterious threat pursues the writer is far from leaving him alone.
