Some repeat material here that I heard in one or two of her other specials, but it was done better in this one. Not all the jokes landed with me, but most did, and I really laughed several times throughout.
Joan Rivers is not the kind of comedian you recommend to your mom or anyone else for that matter- not unless you know their humor VERY WELL haha. She's more the type one enjoys secretly by oneself- since most of the world is so easily offended these days. Thankfully, I'm not like most though, so I really liked this and appreciate her fearlessness, her honesty, and her ability to make even the darkest things funny.
