I really loved the shows re write of Richard out of Chief of Surgery. I thought it'd be weird At first, but this episode shows how comedic the plot can be if he's just "one of the surgeons". Also, makes me like his character even more that he cuts back due to Adele being sick.

Mary's Risky Brain Surgery

This Episode begins with Meredith, she is helping during a birth at the hospital. Mary gave birth to her baby. Mary has a brain tumor. Richard caught Owen and Cristina at the conference room, they almost had sex with each other. Derek says to Mary that a surgery for her brain tumor is still possible. Mary wants the brain surgery, but Clay don't want it. Alex decided that a TAVI surgery is too risky for Chuck. Derek performs Mary's surgery. Derek removed the entire tumor out of Mary's brain. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 8, amazing to see that Derek and Meredith don't talk about work but still Meredith knows everything that Derek did on a workday!

This will forever be the episode that made everyone fall in love with April Kepner. April was never a loved character in the beginning but this episode was when her true character development started. The humor in this episode was also outstanding, absolutely loved it.
