- Dotti a single mother of two, Desiree and Delvin, finds herself troubled due to the loss of her youngest son Jaylin. Dotti has a gambling addiction that she uses to escape her reality. Desiree feels the guilt of not being able to protect her younger brother and turns to a life of rebellion. She also becomes overprotective of Delvin, not being able to deal with another loss if something were to happen to him. Delvin on the other hand wants to be the head of the house but hasn't grown up enough to accept the responsibility of being a man. He spends his time chasing women and being a player. Dotti decides to move her family and ends up moving from one dangerous place to another.
