Mumbai, June 12: Actress Adah Sharma has joined PETA's latest ad campaign to extend her support against cruelty and caging of birds and has urged the people to let the feathered creatures fly freely.
"Don't keep birds in cages. Don't keep any other animal or any wildlife, especially birds, in cages. They (birds) are wild animals and not domesticated animals like cats and dogs," Adah told reporters here Tuesday while shooting for PETA's (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) latest ad campaign.

Preity Zinta’s ‘Ishkq In Paris’ has turned out to be a colossal disaster. If the opening was extremely poor and there was no escalation over the weekend, what shocked further was to see further slide in (already) low collections over the weekdays. With rapid decline in footfalls, this is one of those rare films with a notable lead actress to see such a poor response at the box office. This resulted in first week collections of a mere 2 crore which are so low that they would have shocked even the most pessimistic people connected to Bollywood.
Agreed that the film was delayed and there was no saleable hero either. Still, given the fact that the end product had reasonably decent credentials, one would have expected somewhat better collections for the film. Not that the eventual box office outcome would have been different in a major way but still at...

Mouthing expletives is the in thing and Bollywood is pretty much revelling on that. While several male actors went all out in recently released Shootout At Wadala when it came to using flowery language, even females are not far behind. Though it is still controlled and 'just for fun' in this week's release Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke, Adah Sharma does have some mouthful to her credit. In order to ensure that she got it all correct, she actually practiced her dialogues at home and in the process made her parents wonder what she was up to. Read More...

Film: "Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke"; Cast: Dev Goel and Adaah Sharma; Director: Jyotin Goel; Rating: None
Shammi and Priyanka, played by newcomer Dev Goel and semi-newcomer Adaah Sharma, are chaddi-buddies. To prove it, he even flashes his chaddi in her face. Thankfully, he isn't wearing it when this occurs.
This is one of the many irreverent scenes showing the couple's comfort level that keeps recurring with discomforting frequency in the film with the potential to make us lough out aloud. Alas, the laughter is often waylaid.
The film comes from a banner that has given mainstream Hindi cinema such blockbusters in the past as 'Dus Lakh' and 'Ek Phool Do Maali'. Devendra Geol, who made these successful films is much respected..

With Ipl Finals this weekend, there is a window of opportunity that has opened for ‘Ishkq In Paris’ and ‘Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke’ to find a release as no other major star studded film is hitting the screens. While former is a romantic comedy cum drama in Paris, latter is an out and out comedy set in one night. Both films have been in news for some time and now are eventually arriving in theatres.
Since there is no major competition from any of the earlier releases (‘Aashiqui 2′ is nearing its close while ‘Aurangzeb’ isn’t expected to cover major distance in the second weekend), the stage is set for both films to bring in some audience. However it is content that would do the talking here since one doesn’t really look forward to opening of any sorts doing the trick.

After enjoying a strong presence opposite Sanjay Dutt in Son Of Sardaar last Diwali, Juhi Chawla would be returning in yet another film featuring him, Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke. Though the duo is not paired opposite each other in the traditional sense, the film would be yet another instance of them demonstrating their comic streak. Yes, both are really funny in the film. Even when Juhi doesn't have any dialogues in any particular scene, she is just hilarious. On the other hand Sanju's scenes have been written so very well," says a source attached to the film. Adah Sharma is a happy girl. If she would soon be seen as a 'call centre girl' next door in Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke, there is another biggie Hasee Toh Phasee in the making with none other than Sidharth Malhotra. Mumbai, April 12: Adah Sharma, who will be seen sharing screen space with the likes of Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla in comedy "Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke", says she got to learn a lot from her experienced co-stars about comic timing.
The 23-year-old, who made her debut opposite Rajniesh Duggall in horror thriller "1920", will be seen romancing Dev Goel in the forthcoming comedy, set to hit the screens May 24.
"We both are very lucky to work with established stars and to do comedy with them because one gets to learn a lot in comedy. Everyone's comic timing is different, Chunky (Pandey) ji, Juhiji, and Sanjay Dutt's. We got to learn.
