Despite the fab cast, 'The Larkins' really isn't grabbing me character/scriptwise, and I've nearly quit watching a few times. However, this episode 'Wheels of Justice' is one of the better ones. With more stories, there's more to like and they all seemed to have equal importance, showing how some of the characters develop. There are still too many unlikeable people, but at least some are more likeable than in previous episodes. Once again, Edith has the best scene, here with Ma, which really sums up the Larkin family in a way which often gets lost in this more chaotic version. I'd love to see more all-age TV dramas, but not quite as quirky as this.
