Bree has turned into something of a floozy and we see her come home with several men. She brings them home and then kicks out before Mrs. McCluskey wakes up. Very abruptly. They want to see her again and she declines, explaining she's had husbands and boyfriends and now all she needs now is a warm body in her bed. But she does offer them muffins after sex.
A little later, Gaby is redoing the living room with the help of Renee and Lynette's help, mostly to get rid of the bad Alejandro memories. Lynette says she's ready to start dating again and wants Gaby and Renee to set her up with someone. They admit that fixing her up will be a challenge. Being who she is, Lynette bullies them into helping her.
Ben takes Renee into his house and shows that he's ditching his enormous wall fish, because he wants her to be in it for the long haul. She heads upstairs to thank him for this gesture. He gets a call. It's an employee wanting to send out layoff notices. Ben says not to worry. He's working on another way to make payroll.
Claudia comes to visit Susan and asks where the hell her husband is. She comes in screaming for Ramon. She thinks Susan's having an affair with Ramon because she told Claudia's daughter that he was never coming back. She threatens Susan with bodily harm until MJ comes in.
The next morning, Bree wakes up to knocking on her front door and is shocked a man is still there. It's Mrs. McCluskey and she's pissed about the church bake sale. Of course, she sees the guy coming down the stairs. Bree tries to cover but she does a bad job and gets spotted. Karen McCluskey tells Bree that she has seen others and wants to know what's going on. Bree says she's fine but Karen spies the open wine bottle.
Meanwhile, Susan wakes up and sees that Claudia has papered the ENTIRE neighborhood with pictures of Alejandro asking if anyone had seen this man and if their "slut" neighbor Susan had. Gaby wakes up and sees this. She and Susan fight, Susan explains the whole story about how she secretly traveled to Oklahoma to visit Alejandro/Ramon's new family and Gaby softens. Susan wonders how they're going get out of this one since, as Gaby explained they were in the clear. Gaby says to call Claudia and she will tell her the truth about Ramon/Alejandro.
At a beauty salon, Lynette takes a shine to Renee's hairdresser Frank, and wants to go out with him. Renee doesn't want her to but she gives in and he agrees to go out with her.
The date involves talking about their exes. Frank complains about how his ex-wife always tried to tell him what to do, like opening his own salon. Lynette tries to defend the ex since she agrees with her methods and talks about how good it would be to open his own salon and maybe she was just trying to motivate him. He says she made him feel like a failure all the time with her constant critisism. Lynette backs off and then of course can't and draws up an entire business plan showing how he could be successful opening his own shop. Frank says he's uncomfortable with her talking like that. She wonders if it's because he's scared. She just says it's a five year plan. He also said Stalin had a five year plan. Lynette apologizes and says he's perfectly adequate. He then says they should order. He wants the salmon, she asks "in a steakhouse?" Lynette tries but just can't get rid of her bossy attitude.
Meanwhile, Bree is hititng on a guy at a bar when her preacher Rev. Sykes shows up and throws water on her plan. McCluskey ratted on her. The preacher drags her off saying this is not who she is. Bree argues that she's been following him for years and she still doesn't know who she is and she's not sure that's working for her. Sykes takes away her bake sale and tells her that she cannot attend it. She calls him cruel. He says she's trying to be a friend.
The next day, the distraught and angry Frank essentially ruins Renee's hair and she goes to Lynette. She has a huge afro resembling a 1970s Pam Grier. Lynette says she had no idea their date was that bad and that Frank took out his anger on Renee. Lynette says she's not going to apologize if the guy couldn't handle constructive advice. Renee says "oh... so it was his fault that you tried to contol him? Or was it was Tom's fault?"
That evening, Renee has her big date with Ben at his house (despite her 70s afro hairstyle). He offers champagne and an engagement ring. She worries that it's a little fast but she says 'yes'. He says she's made him so happy. She says he has too and explains that when her marriage ended she felt so betrayed and thought she would never trust anyone again and she feels safe with him. Ben suddenly feels terrible and takes the ring back saying she doesn't want to marry him because he's an awful person. She's confused and says he's an amazing person. He says she's going to hate him and he comes clean. Ben reveals that he's having some financial problems due to the late Chuck Vance closing down his construction site and cannot make payroll to his employees with work at a standstill, so after hearing about her recent divorce of a major league baseball player, he decides to woo her. Renee immediately realizes he wanted to marry her for her money. (She got $12 million in her divorce.) She gets upset and is leaving and he says he really did mean what he said but, she points out: "there's no way for me to know that now, is there?"
The next day, Susan brings Claudia to Gaby. Her daughter Marissa is in the car. The people redoing her living room find the bloodstain and Gaby calls it a "red wine stain." Gaby takes Claudia in the kitchen and starts to explain all about Ramon and that he was formerly called Alejandro whom was her stepfather who sexually abused her and he later abandoned her and her mother. The skeptic Claudia refuses believe her and tries to leave. Outside, Susan explains to Marissa that keeping the secret only makes it worse. Inside, Claudia screams at Gaby to shut up when she says Ramon is a child molestor. Marissa comes in and tells her it's true. Claudia believes this and is devastated.
Meanwhile, Lynette goes to apologize to Renee and accept the blame for pushing men to be what she wants them to be. Lynette is worried that since she is this controlling and domineering person (due to her troubled upbringing of taking care of her irresponsible mother) and it is who she is and she can never change. Renee says she can be whatever she wants and promises it will get better saying that Lynette is the most determined person she knows and that she should take up yoga again. Lynette says she hopes she's right and after all Renee found Ben. Renee explains it's over with Ben.
Later that evening, Ben gets in the car with the same mobster-type dude that he was going to borrow money from before where the guy agrees to give him the money he needs to help him out. The guy explains that Ben needs to pay a large percentage of the loan back every week... for the rest of his life. If Ben misses one payment, he'll be in trouble and if he misses two.... well he doesn't want to miss two. The guy points out that if Ben has money troubles maybe he can ask his "pretty girlfriend" for a loan. Ben says to keep her out of it.
Claudia and Marissa come to say goodbye to Gaby. Marissa gives her a big hug. Claudia feels terrible that she brought Ramon/Alejandro's into her life and Gaby must tthink she's a terrible mother. Gaby points out that her mother never even believed her so Claudia has one up on her. Claudia glances at the bloody carpet and says: "you should probably get rid of that." (Implying that she may know what happened).
The next morning, Bree comes out to get her newspaper and is looked on by a disapproving Mrs. McCluskey. She has a morning bottle of wine while she makes a perfect tart for the bake sale she is no longer supposed to be attending. She shows up anyway. Rev. Sykes tries to convince Bree to leave before she embarrasses herself because she's cleary drunk. Bree says she can take care of herself. She runs into one of her conquests, who it turns out he's married. The wife gets into a fight with Bree, and she calls her the town whore and her husband a cheat for his infidelity. Mrs. McCluskey intervenes and tells the wife not to listen to her since she doesn't know Bree. And Bree realizes that in fact, maybe she does. Bree finally decides that she no longer cares about what people think of her and she tells the congregation to enjoy the gossip she's provided before walking out.
Epilogue; Gaby rolls out new carpet for her living room.
Renee breaks a picture of her and Ben.
Lynette starts doing yoga.
Instead of taking her conquests inside, Bree makes out with them in full view of everyone.... embracing her new role as town floozy.
