The sign outside the building from which Rako Hardeen launches his sniper attack reads 'Noodle Bar' in Aurebesh. All the prison uniforms have the word 'prisoner' written on it's sleeve in Aurebesh lettering.
Rako Hardeen's helmet design is based on a rebel trooper concept originally designed for Return of the Jedi.
Moralo Eval is a Phindian, the same race as Osi Sobeck, who first appeared in The Citadel (2011). Their race first appeared in Jude Watson's 1999 young readers Star Wars novel "Jedi Apprentice: The Dark Rival". It's culture and home planet of Phindar was elaborated upon in Watson's next book: "Jedi Apprentice: The Hidden Past".
