This was truly a breath of fresh air for me. I didn't know what to expect with this Hawaii/Filipino collaboration project but it was stunning. The directing was really good. The acting was solid.. the chemistry between the two leads really sold it for me and the plot was really strong and I really enjoyed how it focused heavily on the culture of the people and the love story felt important but also was not the center of the story. This was great filmmaking and I hope it inspires more people on the island to pursue the BL market as the talent is there and the actors are there as this was a really good cast of actors.

Hawaii has entered the BL Arena

A good start to the BL genre. I loved the detailed cultural references and it drew me in to the Hawaiian/Filipino world. Actors were committed to their roles. There were a few flat lines but overall a very likeable story. The energy of the main characters was also very contagious and left me wanting to see how they turned out. Failure to mention how cute the entire cast was would be a big miss! I do hope this is the beginning of a great journey into the BL genre from a different culture's perspective. We need more films/series like this for sure. Looking forward to many more great productions!
