- A man and a woman argue briefly about sexual attraction to other people, and vaguely discuss the man having sex with another woman and whether or not "he liked it". They end their argument and kiss, then the woman lays the man back and begins to open his shirt, sliding down out of sight. Feliatio is implied.

- A young man is tied to an wooden "X" and tortured sadistically, first by having a knife inserted underneath his fingernail and then, in a later scene, with the repeated tightening of a metal screw-like instrument attached to his foot. Blood oozes forth as he screams. His torturers question him, asking him the same question over and over, until they get an answer that they are satisfied with. This is disturbing, especially when the victim gives an answer and his torturers appear to accept it, but then resume tormenting him for a different answer.

- There is a scene in a forest with a young boy, his pet dire wolf, and a woman. The wolf begins to snarl and growl into the trees, and the boy and woman are immediately on guard. The woman picks up a hand made spear and creeps into the trees. Another young man emerges and walks toward the wolf and the young boy, but the woman walks up behind him and puts the spear to the back of his neck. However, then his sister comes up behind the woman and puts a knife to her throat. The woman warns them that if they hurt her or the boy, the wolf will "rip [the intruders] to shreds." However, eventually they all calm down. No one is harmed.
