STRENGTHS :- * Cheran's episode : was very good ...... * Story : was fine but not well executed.....

WEAKNESSES :- * Length of the movie : very slow screenplay ..... * Actresses : were not special..... * Songs : were boring .....but some BGM were superb ....

FINAL VERDICT :- Overall... it is hard to watch ... but for cheran u can watch this once ....

Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal (2013) Review:

Director Vasanth's most expected film after 6 years gap in his filmography comes with a bunch of disappointments and loop holes.

The title might seem catchy; creating a lot of expectations on the story and characterization but it is eventually spoiled by a poorly sketched screenplay. Thus this film fails to recreate the magic we had in the director's previous success scripts like Neruku Ner, Keladi Kanmani, Aasai, Rhythm, Sathampodathey. The story is a hyperlink kind about three couples in three different zones Hills, Sea shore and plain land may be the director is trying to connect the famous three regions in tamil history ie Kurunji ,Marudham , Neidhal respectively. The story is emotional romance but disastrous screen play with so many negative factors including very slow pace, Poor editing, Lengthy scenes and poor characterisation fails in keeping up the audience on their seats. Coming to the casting Arjun, Cheran and Bhanu where good choices. Vimal was hardly fits to the urban boy role because of his slang and body language. Lasini the Vimal's love interest was again a total disastrous choice; there were so many problems with her lip sync, expressions and gestures. Surveen Chawla Arjun's love interest as an aspiring Olympic swimmer failed to show real sports spirit face and definitely lags in acting. There were so many useless support roles in the movie which in turn lead to confusion at the end. So many scenes where abruptly blunt and without proper finish in the movie which irritates the viewers.

Music by Yuvan was the only positive point that I could think of in this movie. Overall the music album was good. Verdict: Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal fails to keep up the emotional connectivity and definitely a tuff test for your patience. Overall rating will be 0.5 out of 5.

Varun, a chartered accountant, helps Anjana find work in his father's firm after he is smitten by her. Though Anjana is not interested in a relationship as she is trying to deal with a failed engagement, she falls for Varun's charms. It is at this point that Varun realizes Anjana is not the right person for him. The chemistry is very good in the Vemal-Lasini pair.

The movie then introduces us to the story of Gunasekhar (Cheran) and Mallika ( Muktha Banu), which engages us in terms of its intensity. This love story traces the life of Mallika, a physiotherapist, who falls in love with Guna, a social worker who helps with the rehabilitation of ex- convicts. This is the most mature relationship that the movie explores and works best, thanks to some sensible acting by Cheran and Muktha. The third story, between Harris and Divya, is probably the most modern story with both characters completely aware of what they want from the relationship. However, it is also in parts the most far-fetched of stories. Harris, a well-known swimmer, is training Divya to win a gold medal in the Olympics. However, he meets with an accident and becomes a quadriplegic. There is sizzling chemistry between Arjun and Surveen, and they come out with strong portrayals.The music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is the grace of 'Moondru Per Moondru Kadal'. The beautiful lyrics of songs such as 'Kadal endan kadal', 'Aaha kadal' and 'Mazhai mazhai' work wonders and keep you engaged in movie. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is grace of the film. Every song has its own unique flavour and is incredible.

The beautiful lyrics make them even more romantic, especially Kaadhal Endhan Kaadhal and Unakkaagave Uyir Vaazhgiren.

Nandini Srikar amazing vocals in Aaha Kaadhal Konji Pesudhe definitely deserves a special mention. The song Mazhai Mazhai has been picturised beautifully on a dashing Arjun and a young Surveen Chawla. MPMK definitely has songs you want to listen to over and over again.

Guna (Cheran) and Malliga (Muktha Bhanu) is set in a small town by the seaside. Guna is a social activist who runs an organisation that helps ex- convicts to start a new life. His dedication and sincerity for his work leaves him no time for love or marriage, thus shattering the dreams of poor Malliga who is in love with him.

I have to watch the movie on release date in Salem I like very much the opening scene. My special thanks to Mr. Vasanth and group. "Stop the pattu" song is very nice to hear, and very impress on this songs. My daughter also like that song. Actor Vimal's acting is very good. Actor Arjun looking is very smart. Cheran hair style is very good. And one more special thanks to Music director Mr. Yuvan Shankar Raja. All songs is very nice. Every song was touching my heart. Editor Mr. S. N. Fazil done good job. All the best for mr S.N Fazil. Camera man Mr. Bhojan K. Dinesh showing all scenes very clarity and beautiful Muktha Bhanu looking very beautiful.

And they're not just joke-spitting machines; the lines they speak — long monologues and dialogues, sometimes delivered to the camera — are actually about something. The director opts for a low-key approach, eschewing epiphanies in favour of small moments, slices of life. The non-linear narrative style isn't all that common either. We see something and then we learn what it's about, or we think one thing and it turns out to be what we never expected.

This is yet another blast from Director Vasanth . This movie has touched many hearts with the blend of breathtaking music from Yuvan which adds pep to the proceedings.

The characterization of the movie creates inquisitiveness among the viewers.This movie revolves around three couples which stays everlasting.You can't judge a film by its teasers. After the trailer vignettes, one anticipated a cracker of a movie especially since it comes from Vasanth.

The locations of each of their stories in mind blowing.It makes us walk along with the movie.

On whole a wonderful entertainer worth a watch.

I am really impressed. Once again Vasanth gave the good movie for us. I like very much Cheran and Banu loves scene and their expression. Yuvan gave very good background music for all situations. Nandini Srikar's amazing vocals in Aaha Kaadhal Konji Pesudhe definitely deserves a special mention. The song Mazhai Mazhai has been picturised beautifully on a dancing Arjun and a young Surveen Chawla. Once again, Vasanth excels in creating characters. Of all, Arjun Sarja walks out with a wonderful role. The actor's chemistry with Surveen Chawla works big time. Cheran and Muktha Banu's roles are good.

I have viewed the movie in Salem. The songs, music and the story are really amazing. Special congrats to Vasanth and Crew in order to provide good movie. Introduction of heroine's is really good. "Stop the song creation is a gift to the eye. Arjun, Cheran and Vimal's acting seems like real characters. Yuvan Sankar music are contributing more power to the ears. This type of story has not yet viewed by anyone. Good Movie. Hats off to the entire crew.I have watch this movie with my family. My son has loved the stop song very much. I forgot to mention about the choreography.Its very impressive. The Climax is very touching to the heart.The Caption and the story is really makes this movie in top position.

Director Vasanth who is popular for giving selective good movies has worked out a different theme in this movie. People generally fall in love with the opposite sex, some may be infatuation, some may be real, but that doesn't matter. How love is connected with the life & the practicality matters. This theme is clearly delivered in this film. 3 different stories in 3 different locations gives a fresh feel for each story, connecting all the 3 at the last is the turning point & delivering the message strongly has come up well.

Music & songs are awesome, running in the mind always. Everyone has done their role perfectly, fitting in the shoes of each character. Cheran-Muktha Banu adds points to the film. Arjun still maintains his smartness, Vimal's part a good time passing one.

SM Vasanth movies are popular to songs and picturaisation.This movie was fulfill the expectation.Yuvan music was superb. Editing and Camera angles was good. Especially "Kadhal yenthan Kadhal" song suituation is very nice. Vasanth stories are always different I like the way of story telling. In this film also based on a true story(Cheran's character). Hats off to the lady.All the other are playing very well in this movie. I just fall in love with the beautiful lyrics, the memorable songs and the breathtaking visuals. Totally this Moondru per Moondru kadhal is a visual treat for audience.I enjoyed the movie lot. Particularly the climax was heart touching. I liked the dialogue "Kadhalndrathu vangarathu kidayathu Kudukarathu". Finally congrats to Vasanth and Team.

And watching it on the big screen, you do fall in love,you fall in love with the beautiful lyrics, the memorable songs and the breathtaking visuals. The film stars Arjun, Cheran, Vemal, and Muktha Bhanu along with newcomers Surveen Chawla and Lasini in the lead roles. Director Vasanth's son Ritvik plays a cameo role, supported by Apppukutty, Sathyan, Thambi Ramaiah and John Vijay. Bhojan K Dinesh handles the cinematography and editing is by S N Fazil. The songs of Yuvan Shankar Raja are already popular and gel quite well with the narration. Even though Aaha Kaadhal has been filmed fairly well, the power that the lyrics and the music had created has not been totally translated visually. Mazhai Mazhai number comes out trumps with cinematographer and music director having a field day with their respective departments. That apart, Ritwik Vasanth appears for 'stop the paattu' number and shows his dancing prowess. Bhojan K Dinesh is in charge of camera and resplendently captures the moods of the different terrains.
