I think the reason I can't get into the show is that I dated Kurt iswarienko for 6 years...lived with him for two, and finally dumped him for the guy I am currently celebrating my 10 year wedding anniversary with. Kurt is using the same old lines with Shannen that he did with me...("soul mate, anyone?...I heard that every day for 6 years)) so its hard for me to believe that this is genuine. Kurt was always obsessed with fame, always lacked discipline, and I think he sees her as a way(albeit quite tacky), to get his name in some sort of tabloid headline. Good luck Shannen...if it doesn't work out with you guys he may be heading for Snooki....

I just watched the first episode of "Shannen Says." The thing that I liked best about it was that it genuinely captured a different, i.e. real, side of Shannen Doherty. She's funny. She's confident. She's determined. She's caring. I feel as if she gets a bad rap sometimes, and yes, she did make some mistakes in her youth. However, this show demonstrates how much she has matured. A definite role model for others. She and her fiancé Kurt have great chemistry, and one can really tell that they are in love. Love this show!
