This movie is great, the switch from modern day to 1984 is done very well, but I feel like this should've been handled like it chapter 2, the first movie takes place in 1984 and then the second movie takes place in modern day, but the plot twist with the daughter being the killer should've been handled better, it kinda came out of nowhere and it's weird that I enjoyed the 1984 parts a lot more, and in the garage scene where she kills the dad she should've have kilked him like it was done in 1984 Because that would've been a callback, and I feel like the shadow part was never explained that it was the sickness.
