A different approach and i liked it.

This is the definition of a good slasher. Let's stop praising the old series for a little bit and start apreciating the new one, as a low budget and fan film, it manages to do well, it builds on the origin Jason story with is mother´s death, and here they used the bag on Jason´s head, that was a very different approach because it brings some mystery to the movie, the cast did a good job, the killings were fine, and the story is good.

The guy that plays Jason does an incredible job, because is menacing and full of rage in his eyes, i would see more movies like this one, instead of the hockey mask, that every now and then, they make a new movie and it´s always the same.

I will certainly watch it again.

Happy birthday Jason, finally you are back.

Jason is back better than ever, the story brings us back to basics and we see Jason without the mask, stalking the teenagers at camp blood.

The cast is alright but the thing that i liked most was Jason as a child getting out of the water, after he drowned or it seems to be.

Mrs Voorhees is also in his head along with her voice, telling him to kill Even without the friday themes, the soundtrack is pure evil and filled me with energy, to see what would happen next.

In this one he runs a lot chasing his victim.

And not the walking around and appearing in front of them and just killing them.

I will give the movie a solid 8 out of 10.

He is more smart here, he plays with them, and then kills them.

Jason´s origin story well told.

I say that, of course, in reference to the expected quality of a movie like this. In general, horror movies are bad, but this one was a relief, it builds on the origin story of Jason and brings back the goods, but...it´s a short movie, i would really like to see a full feature to see what ideas could they develop from this, seeing Jason with the bag head brings me back to friday the 13th part 2, when the story starts to develop in a good way, here we see lots of information about the town, the people, Jason´s life when he was still a child, i dig that a lot, this movie just doesn´t have the amount of gore and violence of the franchise, but still i liked it, for what it is.

Another great Constantino film!

And it's another Constantino film! Another short fan film! This time he tackled the Friday the 13th universe, more directly at the source and origin of Jason.

Another job well done right here! Constantino continues to show respect for the"parent" movies and builds his stories with care and attention to detail.

And of course it shows his love to the franchises he chooses to work with.

We also hae hisand Miguel D. Dias cameos at the beginning of the movie, so the final and more personal touch is given.

It is another great work from everyone involved, as always, so congrats for another great short movie! Let the next one come!

Jason gets back to the camp

The body count begins on this one, with a good pace.

We see the origin story again, in a more profund way, with lots of background about the town, his neighbours and mom.

The soundtrack is impressive for a short movie like this The pratical effects are well done.

This is a solid film in the franchise and would recommend horror fans to watch it.

The cast did an amazing job.

Once again, I love the aesthetic of the film, and think the campground setting is effective, putting the audience in there with Jason as we see with happens next, when he is face to face with the final girl.

I found her character to be more fleshed out, than others of the franchise.

For a short fan movie this one is a must have.

The beginning of the Jason Voorhees story.

I like the burlap sack mask. It is creepy.

The tension scenes have a great impact causing a certain fear and anguish of what could happen. Basically everything here is much improved, including the story. The script is not even close to being good, but some ideas here are much better than others.

The soundtrack is sweet and a good improvement on the franchise.

The cast does a good job, of what they have here, still the characters make dumb choices, ignoring any warning of danger, and running away from any unpleasant situation.

We are mostly looking for the kills, and there are some that are effective, but they are scarce.

All in all 8.

Jason returns in a good way.

The Jason mythology is still here. His mother is still involved, and we see a little of Jason´s early days before what happend i dig that a lot, always wanted to see more of the town, the town folks talking about him, from what i´ve seen, everybody knows about him in this movie, but nobody goes to crystal lake anymore because they know that is cursed, only the teenagers venture there to die.

It doesn´t have a lot of killing like the original movies but it has a good premise, jumping from place to place and see Jason stalking the lake in search for victims, like a normal day in his life.

Good cast, good effects, good story = it´s 9 for me.

Here we have a kind of prequel sequel on this new fan film of the franchise friday the 13th, so we got jason with the sackhead, and the head of his mother, telling him what to do.

So a girl ventures into camp blood, and jason is outhere and sees her.

Along with some other campers.

We got a prequel story in the beginning of the movie, like a guy from a radio station telling all the story of jason and crystal lake with slides in the mix, showing jason as a child in town, with his mother.

That was really cool, i dig that backstory a lot, because mainly we only see him, stalking and killing, so this one has a different approach to the myth of jason.

It´s 9/10 for me, just for the premise that brings us to best of both worlds, the backstory and the present, in wich jason has the power to get his revenge.

Jason prequel in form of sequel.

We see Jason come back after he drowned in Crystal Lake and then we get more teenagers for him to be mad at. Why you ask? Does it really matter? Let's say because they can live a life he never could and he hates them for it. That should be good enough. We also get a final girl that is quite clever.

Nor is it the best when it comes to dialogue. Much of it is very crude and cheesy.

Visually, on the other hand, it improves over some of the sequels.

And the hauntingly eerie music score, moves along very well throughout the movie, as Jason comes and kills them.

Never undertstood very well the bag on his head, but this movie has it, and it´s different.

Overall, pretty good prequel or sequel.

A good fan film.

Jason once again returns to kill some teenagers to go to Crystal lake for some fun, the death scenes are great, and story is the same old fun with Jason, here we see him without the mask but with the bag on his head, for me the bag was always more creepy than the mask, the mask is somewhat more cooler like an action hero, wich Jason isn´t, he´s an horror icon.

So the sets are well connected with the franchise, the protagonist is gorgeous.

And the origin story looks more creepy than the original movies, with some of the people in town talking about him and Pamela, it has some credibility to it, because we already saw something like that on the first friday the 13th.

The soundtrack pushes this short movie to next level.

Jason has comeback.

What they deliver is a good installment, one of the best fan films outhere.

They were smart has they introduce Jason as a child and the town folks talking about him and his mother.

Then a few years later we see a couple back in camp blood, only to be slashed by Jason who is back from the grave.

As a fan film It does however achieve its primary goals well, it is scary and it is fun.

The soundtrack is good, the make up effects too.

We also get a final girl that is quite clever.

It's solid entertainment that you don't have to take seriously, despite the macabre subject matter.

It´s amazing fun at camp blood with Jason.
