2018 marks a decade since Robert Downey Jr. strapped himself into an experimental metal suit and blasted himself halfway across a desert. With every subsequent cinematic appearance that Iron Man armor got sleeker and more impressive, as did the McU films it featured in. But all good things must come to an end, and it’s looking as if Avengers 4 might see the final appearances from some of the all-time greatest movie superheroes.
After all, Thanos and his so-called Black Order are a force to be reckoned with, so we can only assume that there will be a few casualties in Avengers: Infinity War that will have a knock-on effect on the roster of characters available for Avengers 4. No one lives forever – not even heroes – and by the time the credits roll on the third Avengers movie, we’re sure that we’ll have had to say goodbye to a few individuals.

If there’s one thing we learned from Vanity Fair’s celebratory cover shoot, it’s that the roll call for Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel really is the stuff dreams are made of.
From Iron Man to Cap, Black Widow to Star-Lord, the Russo Brothers are currently juggling some of the biggest names in comics, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the directing duo can’t have some fun along the way. And though many had assumed that most, if not all of the Infinity War cast members will be returning in time for Avengers 4, now we’re not so sure.

Bassist Jack Bruce has passed on at the age of 71 of liver disease. No one lives forever, but he will always be best known for his power trio Cream with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker. I was fortunate enough to catch their reunion tour in 2005 at Madison Square Garden. I was blown away by Jack's bass playing and his strong vocals throughout. And this was a man who had survived liver cancer and a liver transplant just a few short years earlier. Certainly his legendary power trio was a tough act to follow, but Bruce has many albums in his discography both before and after his classic rock trio; not only with British blues bands such as Alexis Korner’s Blues Inc., the Graham Bond Organisation, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, and Manfred Mann, but a robust solo career, too. And in 1994, in an effort to recreate the energy and excitement of Cream,...

The classic Sierra 60s spy fest may be returning to our screens thanks to a new trademark filing...
Monolith's No One Live Forever is one of the best examples of early 2000s Fps titles, and the adventures of super spy, Cate Archer, could be returning to our screens. PC publisher, Night Dive Studios, has recently filed trademarks covering the entire series, including the original title, The Operative: No One Live Forever, sequel No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way, and spin-off, Contract J.A.C.K.
Over the years, the rights for the series have been somewhat confusing, with Fox Interactive and Sierra Interactive both owning the rights, only to be swallowed up by the Activision machine. Activision's Dan Amrich then stated that Activision didn't believe it owned the rights to the games. Because of this uncertainty,...

Six former developers from Monolith, the studio behind F.E.A.R. and No One Lives Forever, have just announced Betrayer, a first-person single-player action-adventure game set in Colonial Virginia that features exploration, weaponry authentic to the times and a metaphysical mystery with a historical foundation.
Upon arriving in the Colonies via sailboat from England, you discover ghosts and ghouls in a New World stripped of color, save for the occasional splash of red. From there, it’s up to you to figure out what happened by piecing together clues. Betrayer contains limited hand-holding. It’s not meant to be easy and the story is found – rather than told in a heavy-handed expository way.
Creative lead Craig Hubbard of the studio behind Betrayer, appropriately named Blackpowder Games, explains to PC Gamer:
“It’s been so long since someone’s done something this austere, that it just seemed like an opportunity.

Indie game developer Blackpowder Games has revealed their newest title, Betrayer, an atmospheric first-person action adventure game for the PC. Blackpowder is composed of ex-Monolith developers who once worked on the original F.E.A.R. and No One Lives Forever series. These developers followed through on a mission to create compelling and memorable action games. Betrayer will be the company’s first self-funded debut that is powered by Unreal Engine 3 technology.
Creative director Craig Hubbard said “We wanted to get back to crafting games more intuitively. There’s a sense of discovery and excitement when you navigate by instinct rather than market research and open yourself up to opportunities that arise during development.”
“Betrayer washes you ashore in the New World in 1604, where you’re expecting to join a struggling English colony on the Virginia coast. Instead you find only ghosts and mysteries in a land drained of color and life.

Will Eric Northman die on "True Blood"?
Many fans of the long-running HBO series have been worried about the fate of Alexander Skarsgard's character since "True Blood's" Season 6 key art was released, featuring a vampire, who looks a lot like Eric, screaming above the tagline, “No one lives forever.”
During an appearance on "Access Live" on Wednesday, actress Kristin Bauer van Straten, who plays Pam on "True Blood," opened up about the rumors regarding her character's maker.
Anchor Billy Bush said fans believe that Eric will die this season and asked Bauer if it's a fear of hers.
"It is a fear of mine for a couple of reasons. I love being around him," she said, as guest host Holly Robinson Peete noted the tears welling up in Bauer's eyes. "See? She knows something," Bush asserted. "Well, I know a lot of things," Bauer said, fighting back the tears.

The "True Blood" Season 6 (premieres Sun., June 16 at 10 p.m. Et on HBO) promos have promised us that "No one lives forever," but have we really seen the last of Bill Compton? And could Sookie's mysterious new man potentially spell her doom?
The answer to both those questions is likely no -- Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) are the main characters, people! -- but it never hurts to tease.
While Bill and Sookie are safe, we know that at least one major character won't survive "True Blood" Season 6 -- and there's plenty more action to come besides.
"I hesitate to say this, but I think we've got a really great season," Moyer told Du Jour magazine in a recent interview. "Obviously I have the benefit of being behind the curtain now that I'm directing, so I know a lot of stuff prior to the other actors and I've seen some footage.

Brian Buckner reveals that ‘one of the principal characters’ won’t survive the sixth season. Time to play detective!
With the season premiere of True Blood just three days away, Truebies worldwide are chomping at the bit to find out what’s in store for Sookie (Anna Paquin) and her supernatural sidekicks. In an interview with Rolling Stone, new showrunner Brian Buckner spills some major season six secrets — including the death of a fan-favorite resident of Bon Temps.
“One of our principal characters will not make it all the way through the season,” Brian tells the mag — a statement sure to shivers down the spine of any Truebie. “We’re going to stop to grieve them, and try to tell the more human side of the supernatural stories we’re telling.”

True Blood Season 6 will feature a number of new characters.
But none will play a more significant role than Arliss Howard's Governor Burrell.
As you can see in the following new promo, this head of state will be dead serious about doing away with members of the undead this summer, urging Louisiana residents in a speech to buy guns... stock up on wooden bullets... shut down all vampire-owned businesses and generally take their country back.
The concluding message on the trailer, which HBO has teased through its True Blood campaign? No one lives forever. Gulp.

True Blood has a tradition of wooing me with its perfectly thought out promotional art. All it takes is a single glance and already I start to think this year is going to be different. Everything that’s disappointed me in seasons past will be fixed and this season will be the one that gets all the beats right. I never learn. Even as I remain somewhat skeptical, I’m still hoping. It’s a strange feeling to at once be both optimistic and pessimistic. But that’s where I find myself and will likely stay until the season finally premieres June 16. In the meantime, let’s dissect this bad boy and see if we can make some sense out of my hopes and fears.

With a month to go until the start of True Blood season 6, we've got a new poster for the show's return...
There's a month to go now before the return of True Blood to our screens. Season six of the show premieres in the Us on Sunday June 16th, and so HBO has been steadily releasing more and more promotional material in advance of that.
Take, for instance, this brand new poster. We could give you some insightful curation to it, but we figure you can see as plainly as we can that there's lots of red and some teeth in there. Also, No One Lives Forever was a hugely underappreciated videogame, but we're pretty sure that's not what they're getting at with that tagline.

"True Blood" Season 6 is just around the corner (it premieres June 16 at 9 p.m. Et) and in preparation, HBO has released the first piece of key art for the new year -- a blood-hued image that ominously promises "No one lives forever," much like the Season 6 preview trailer.
Last season ended with "chosen one" Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) drinking Lilith's blood and presumably becoming possessed by the first vampire, attacking Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) in the episode's final moments. Since it's unlikely that the show is going to kill off any of the core trio, it remains to be seen which other inhabitants of Bon Temps might be in the line of fire this season.
Season 6 will also introduce a number of new characters, including Nicole (Junree Smollett-Bell) and Niall Brigant (Rutger Hauer), as well as showing us a darker side of "Billith" as the war between humans and vampires escalates.
