Another day and another mediocre Reel One Entertainment TV movie. This one is the classic example of almost everything wrong in their movies. Let me start with good things because techically movie is mostly all right.

The movie takes place at Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, Canada. They never explicitly said it, but as so many other ROE TV movies take place there, you can easily recognize it. It's beautiful place if it doesn't pretend to be some random US place or city. There is barely any loud background music when cast talk or speak. Audio production is also mostly all right. However, background music was mostly melancholic and immersion killer. Not a once was played any signature ROE TV song.

Movie fails hard on everything non-technical: cast, acting, writing, and directing. Edward Ruttle is not a main lead actor and I write that as I watched him several times already. Just no. In the whole cast I would say that only Peter Chouinard looked somehow convincing. Obligatory non-relatable leads and no chemistry between them, too.

Act I is outright horrendous, and probably one of the worst I ever saw. I only watched till the end to see if movie maybe was salvaged later which happens rarely, and of course, it didn't. Bad comedy is just supplemented with bad drama.

To save yourself a misery watch trailer because you'll see most of the movie compressed in just 2:39 min.
