A bit ridiculous

Warning: Spoilers
The episode was pretty alright, maybe not as spectacular as I would have thought, as the season ended with a cliff-hanger, people in danger or near dead, and I would have expected them to show how much it effected everyone or like show any drama at all and instead it is all pretty much solved in the first 10 minutes.

But there is one part that really bothers me. They sent a woman called Lorraine to lure Dearing to a room somewhere. And after he goes to the bathroom for a moment she lets in a couple guys with guns and they shoot at the bathroom door together. Then we notice Dearing has simply snuck out the bathroom windows and planted a bomb that kills the agents. But why didn't they just shoot him while he's looking at the tv's, or have someone standing inside the house so he gets shot as soon as he goes through the door, or shot him through the big window opposite the bed. Or, if they really wanted to shoot him in the bathroom, why didn't they just lock the fricking window! He is known to be a big threat, a smart man. Why would they take the chance?

I'm AMAZED at the Derogatory, less than 10 Ratings of these 2 Episodes.

Take them for What they Are, 2 TREMENDOUS episodes dealing with Issues of our APPARENT Forgotten past, US Navy Barracks, USS Cole, 9/11/2001.

Enjoy Gibbs and his team And their heartbreak for loss And FERVOR for Correction/Justice!!

NONE BETTER!!

Confused...???

When the female FBI agent approached Dearing outside the shop, why didn't she and her team either immediately arrest or shoot him there and then??? Why the charade and 'foreplay' of taking him to her apartment? Doesn't make sense

The writers let me down...again

Warning: Spoilers
It's not just NCIS, as Criminal Minds and Bones also had writers who made mistakes.

The FBI chooses a room with a window in the bathroom that is large enough to allow Dearing to escape but no one covers it from outside? #smh

The FBI's plan makes sense in terms of wanting Dearing off the streets in case he had a bomb. Also, Dearing taking unarmed Lorraine hostage out on the street was a concern. However, she could have pulled her gun before he went in the bathroom and ended it.

After the car explosion...50% DNA match??? Why would anyone accept that as confirmation, especially Abby? The whole scene with Abby outside the morgue is weird.

Dramatic moments must make sense to the viewer. I never felt the suspense of trying to kill an elusive domestic terrorist in this episode.

I have been watching NCIS since it began in 2003.

This episode has to be the worse episode ever of NCIS. It seemed so jumbled in trying to find scenarios for the various characters. The acting seemed so stilted. I cannot understand how that can be. All the main actors have worked together for more than two years. The season finale episode was seamless. What gives?

One thing positive, Jamie Lee Curtis was not on. I like her as an actress but there is no chemistry between her and Mark Harmon.

My husband agrees with my comments.

Very disappointing. I think I'll continue to watch the reruns on USA network.

Can't get any more dumber

Poorest writing of all. Up until this episode I liked NCIS and never felt it had poor writing and then all of a sudden they write this episode and you lose your mind. You're trying to catch a most-wanted criminal and you don't go to a bar as part of an undercover operation, You bring in full force for the arrest. The script just kept stretching and stretching until the point you lose your patience and the episode has lost its suspense. How poor work of writing can this be? How can you lose your grip in writing? I wish the writing team has spent more time in giving the audience a better experience.
