"Tatort" viewers will maybe be able to enjoy this more as Sawatzki and Milberg were/are longtime actors on the show. Here Sawatzki leaves her husband and moves in back with her daughter. She realizes that her daughter has a new boyfriend who is much older. Not much later, Sawatzki's character seems to get together with her daughter's man's son, so another huge age difference, but this time the woman is older. And in the end, the two older ones and the two younger ones get together of course. The film is as predictable as one of the main character's cheesy low-quality novels. Apart from all this love chaos, the film has mostly many unfunny sex and relationship references. Maybe the biggest problem about this film is the lack of Sawatzki's talent. At least, Milberg gives a decent performance and Anna Rot is easy on the eyes. However, nobody in this film is really likable, which doesn't make it better.

The Swiss director has directed many television series in the past, including a favorite of mine: "Mein Leben & ich". The writer duo have collaborated in the past as well, so it's sad and surprising to see that here they came up with a fairly weak script although they should be used to working with one another. It's actually painful to watch how everybody in this movie seems to be condescending to others when it comes to their relationships of which they do not approve, especially the females. And then they included some drama for the sake of it, some unconsciousness and alleged suicide attempt to make this film more dramatically relevant. It's all pointless though as we obviously knew there is no way Sawatzki's character is going to die halfway into the movie. Another failure is how Rot's character keeps emphasizing that marriage is not a topic and yet only a couple minutes later, basically the entire film is only about her marrying her older boyfriend soon. The most negative highlight in terms of comedy was the sex-back problems scene. Wow that was bad and cringeworthy. All in all, a very forgettable film. Not recommended.
