One of the best Bulgarian movie recently
vascoa27 January 2014
Yes it is not Guy Ritchie, it is Bulgarian movie for Bulgarians and it is great fun to watch.

Many of the top and rising Bulgarian actors. Great action comedy scenario. It is very far from the post communist overwhelming dramas you would expect. Pleasant enjoying sequence of funny events.

It is definitely not a miss!!!!

P.S. video&audio edit/effects are TV production quality, it has few commercials. But see the budget - $38000 for a whole movie ... on the cost of Guy Ritchy daily expenses :-) I don't say if they had millions would make it much better - it is just what can be done in Bulgaria now days.

Lock,Stock and three stinking barrels
vasil-d-dobrev17 July 2013
I'm just wondering if Guy Ritchie has seen that "movie".Although it was described as a " parody " of the London's crime movies,I think that it's nothing but a vague attempt to repeat somebody's success. The similarity with Ritchie's movies is away too close,to be called "irony" or "parody".It's a shame, that even the name is irritatingly similar. The movie should be called "Lock Stock and three stinking barrels".The screen-play is weak, many of the scenes make no sense, the general idea is blurred and there is no fun.I'm really sad to say these harsh words,as I am Bulgarian, but what I expected to see,was something really funny and original, something, that makes me feel proud of our "reborn" film-making industry.Well, nothing like this, unfortunately.

Tries too hard to be Lock, Stock...
irivanoff25 September 2012
The low production value, bad editing and terrible sound discrepancies could have been overlooked if it wasn't for the obviously high budget for marketing of this production. Surely this money could have been spent better.

But what ruins this movie by far, is it's general attitude. It tries so hard to be Guy Ritchie style, but falls short in absolutely every way: no interesting characters, no action sequences whatsoever (!) and most of all - no interesting and witty dialog.

Everything seemed to drag on for far too long and the overall pacing was awful. I don't even think that this script looked better in writing - it makes absolutely no sense.

The motives of the main character weren't clear at all, many of the gangsters' actions were pointless (and not funny!). I almost feel that this movie is trying to capitalize on the upward trend of Bulgarian cinema these past few years without even wanting to bring something to the table, which is sad and insulting. COME ON! We are not that desperate...

This has to be forgotten as quickly as possible

There is no rating attached here, simply because 1 (awful) would be an incredible compliment to this shocking, god-awful, abysmal visual cringe.

This film in a nutshell: an early Guy Ritchie-style gangster comedy, minus the "Guy Ritchie", "gangster" and "comedy" bits. Considering the semi-disjointed nature of the movie, maybe "style" should not be applied to this piece of rubbish either. In fact, if I were Guy Ritchie, I would sue the creator of this Third World-grade bootleg for copyright infringement and personal offence.

As few people as possible should see this film, it just has to be forgotten very quickly. If you like shameless and uncreative knock-offs that fail to be whatever they're trying to be, I would much rather recommend "The Man Who Saved the World" (aka "Turkish Star Wars") or "Mac and Me". At least they're ridiculous to the point where you can laugh at them. While this is nothing more than a preposterous, uncreative psychotic mess.
