Monday night Raw kicks off in London, England, with CM Punk vs. Mark Henry for the Heavyweight championship belt. An OK match if nothing too spectacular.
Winner: CM Punk Chris
Jericho calls Punk out via Titantron yet again, this bit is getting old. R-Truth in sherlock Holmes garb goes about looking for a new job for Teddy Long. Not funny.
Match 2: Santino Marella Vs. David Otunga for the United States Championship. Awful match, but really short, so it's not too painful.
Winner: Santino
Lord Tensai is briefly interviewed. A Brock Lesner promo is shown. Meh
Match 3: Zack Ryder Vs. Kane. Kane used to be pretty cool, before he talked.. But I digress, Kane comes out, puts the hurt on Zack and talks smack.
Kofi is flirting with AJ, much to the chagrin of Daniel who doesn't want her but doesn't want anyone else to have her either. yes yes yes. John Cena comes to the ring to smack-talk John Laurinaitis, who retaliates by booking him in a match. R-Truth's still on his quest.
Match 4: Kofi Kingston Vs. Daniel Bryan, which winds up being a pretty good bout, if not the match of the night.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
Match 5: Brodus Clay Vs, Dolph Ziggler. Hard for me to get into a match where I don't give a toss about either wrestler. Easily worst match of the night.
Winner: Brodus via dq. Loser: the audience
Chief Jay Strongbow is remembered after his passing. Nice moment. R-Truth returns to Teddy with news he found the perfect job for him, the one he was fired from.
Match 6: TheGreat Khali & Big Show Vs. Primo & Epico. Tedious and uninteresting
Winner: Show and Khali
Match 7: John Cena Vs. Mystery opponent (Lord Tansai) in extreme rules match which was all right, but lacked excitement.
Winner: Tansai
All in all a somewhat lackluster show with a few standout moments.
My Grade: C+
