Good Story Decent Editing
santinomarinelli24 December 2023
For a FNAF fan film with only a $21,000 budget, Night Five can tell a good story without leaving many questions unanswered. The set was well-built, the suits were okay (once again due to the small budget), and the story was well-written.

I do have some small problems with the films, like the fake looking Motion Capture, being dark in some scenes and the costumes being a bit on the simple side. These can be excused and you are still able to enjoy the film as either a FNAF fan or someone looking for a fun film.

Such a shame that this was slightly better than the official movie (which I rated a 6/10 or 7/10 as an FNAF fan.)

8/10 It good Movie especially for $21,000.

Amazing story, great music, bad editing

Warning: Spoilers
I loved this movie a lot but after two times of watching it, nothing seemed all that exciting anymore. But at the same time there were still great things about Night Five.

The moments that make you realize the character development more easily is seeing how much Micheal gets even more interested in finding Jonathan. I love this fan made depiction of William Afton. In the games and books he's either a psychopath killer or smart skinny scientist, but in this, it's just a fat washed up American man who wasted himself.

In the middle of the movie, the horror feels amazing, seeing everything feel eerie, it's really the part where the horror takes place.

But there are many downsides. The editing is so mediocre. The endo skeleton parts of the animatronics were wobbly and when it is added along with some bad camera quality, it feels like a movie that was pirated in Mexico from the 1990's.

Other than that, this is definitely a must watch movie, but it doesn't keep you interested after twice.

Amazing

Not the most popular movie, but definitely deserves a lot more credit I watched this entire movie instead of doing my homework. And I believe it was totally worth it. Because this movie has such a great atmosphere feel to it and. I love the part where Mike apologizes to Evan. It truly lines up with the video game and shows the corruption of Freddy fazbears! And it was so creepy when William afton admitted to murder of the children. I will definitely show this movie to all of my friends. Beacause i belive that you guys deserve far more subscribers because I also loved your content of FNAF in real life and when I saw this movie appear on my for you page, I was so excited! Keep up the great work.

For a fanmade movie, this is actually great
fateoftheseven11 June 2023
Now, I'm gonna be a little bias here since this is my first time watching a fanmade FNAF movie.

Now, this is the greatest fanmade FNAF movie I've seen so far. I didn't expect much heading into it, but boy, I was hooked through the majority of it. The acting is top notch. I could sense the emotion the actors were giving. Now, every movie doesn't come without its flaws. The only flaws I have are that the animatronics look ugly, and the camera work is meh.

I gotta give props to.the underground artist Pocket, who provided his music for the soundtrack. He gained a new listener. ;) The soundtrack fits the vibe of the atmosphere and the movie perfectly. Well done.

Pretty good for a fan adaptation
elilasprugato29 December 2022
I'm not gonna pretend that this is a phenomenal movie, but I'm so glad that someone finally made a FNAF film. Even better, it was by the awesome people of the ExBlue YouTube channel, the same people who made FNAF 4 and FNAF 1 (soon FNAF 3) in real life. I'm honored to make this movie's first written review (on IMDb at least).

So here's the thing. I watched their creator commentary of the movie earlier, and they talked about how the movie wasn't supposed to have high expectations, but instead be viewed as a passion project of people who loved and cherish the story and lore of FNAF, and it definitely was that. You can certainly see the passion that they put into this movie, and I love it. They used the resources they had and made the most of them while balancing their time and dealing with technical problems along the way, and that is truly inspiring. I have watched all of the original FNAF playthroughs from the ogs like Markiplier and Jacksepticeye, and have also basically watched every timeline and lore theory MatPat and all of the other talented FNAF creators put out. Every piece of FNAF content there is on YouTube is a win for me, and seeing as I am a fan of the franchise, it might appear that I'm a bit biased, which I understand, but in all honestly, I really think this movie deserves a 6/10. The jumpscares are great, (most of) the acting is great, and the sets are great as well. The camera is also sometimes put at unsettling angles, which adds to the overall vibe, and I love that. They also manage to choreograph it well and add a decent amount of suspense to the plot and the story as it reaches the climax. Even better, they have small pixelated segments showing key points in the lore, just like the ones shown in the actual games themselves. While 6/10 isn't the best review, it still shows that it's an enjoyable movie that's worth checking out, even to some non-FNAF fans who just like drama/thriller movies with some horror mixed in there.

Thanks so much for making a FNAF movie, because us fans have been deprived of one since the first rumors started in 2016 (I think). While we all want Blumhouse to put out the movie as soon as possible, it's important to not rush the making of a movie that's gotta be amazing, so thanks for making this movie to satisfy the fans for now. The people at ExBlue are totally awesome, and I love them a ton. I hope they see this review, and by the way, it's totally cool how they incorporated some of their own lore in there. Please check out this movie, they worked hard on it and it deserves to be supported.
