Sex & Nudity

  • A teenage boy feels a teenage girl's breast. It is very quick and she gets upset.
  • Two different scenes a couple of teenagers are watching porn. No actual nudity is shown but some cliche porn dialogue is spoken. Also some moaning is heard.

Violence & Gore

  • A dad appears to walk out of the house. When the camera pans on his face his nose starts bleeding with gouges out eyes.
  • Multiple birds are seen hitting windows on the main characters' house, and blood covers the windows after
  • A woman bangs her head against a glass door until it breaks.
  • A man bleeds profusely from his nose.
  • A kid is shown with what looks like bruises all over his body
  • A man attacks another teenage kid, whose dad then punches him in the face.
  • A man shoots at a group of aliens with a shotgun.
  • A boy is laying in his bed and as he turns toward us, you see that both his eyes have been taken out and you see two empty bloody holes.
  • A man is shown sitting next to a dead woman who is implied to have been shot by him with a shotgun; blood is shown under her and a small portion of her intestines can be seen briefly hanging from the wound; blood is splattered all over nearby objects.
  • A man puts a shotgun in his mouth and pulls the trigger; this happens offscreen, but blood splatters on a nearby kid's clothes.

Profanity

  • 2 uses of the F word both are barely audible.
  • 6 scatological terms, 4 rude words as anatomical terms (1 mild), 5 mild obscenities and 3 religious exclamations. Teen boy has filthy mouth when talking to younger friend, describing what he does to his ladies.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two teen boys and two teen girls meet at an empty house and we see one of the boys put a bong on the table with a bag presumably containing drugs (we do not see them smoke.)
  • Men and women drink beer and wine at a cookout.
  • A man smokes a cigarette in one scene.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Greys (aliens) are pretty creepy, and will scare younger kids if taken to see this.
  • Plenty of scary scenes, including a few jump-shock moments and some nightmare-like imagery (including blood, guns, and death.)
  • There are maybe two jumps in the film; much of the film moves at a slow pace and is more of a psychodrama than a horror film; it is disturbing, intense and unsettling throughout.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a scene where the dad walks into his son's room and his son has no eyes and he asks the dad what's wrong.
