Knight Rider: Knight of the Phoenix part 2
Scarecrow-8828 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Exciting car scenes highlight this second episode of the Knight Rider series as former undercover cop Michael Long is now Michael Knight (The Hoff), hoping to intervene in the plans of Tanya Walker and William Benjamin (Phyllis Davis and Noel Conlin), who were responsible for his shooting which resulted in cosmetic surgery to his face. Tanya and William hope to seize microfilm containing industry secrets of a company called Comtron. Demolition derby, KITT breaking Knight out of prison by driving through a cell wall (!), KITT ejecting Knight from the car to a bridge, and KITT driving through a hauler truck trailer (!) are among the coolest moments. Hilarious bar fight never shows Michael land a punch but it is edited to feature a bunch of barflies going through tables or being thrown to the floor! KITT wanting Knight's respect and genuinely concerned for his safety when he is shot in the shoulder are endearing. Lance LeGault is a hired goon for William but he proves ineffective while flying a chopper tailing Knight, bleeding from the gunshot wound, trying to help his cohorts steal the microfilm. KITT even clips a private plane wing to stop them from carrying off! Amazing car for sure. Charlie Napier guest stars as a derby opponent and barfight participant. Edward Mulhare does his supporting turn as Knight Foundation operations manager. Pamela Stoop and Barret Oliver guest star as mother and son respectively. Oliver is the kid with powers in Twilight Zone the Movie.

Knight of the Phoenix: Part 2
Prismark1029 November 2017
This episode, which is the second part of the series opener shows the audience just what KITT is capable of, that is the hook for the audience as well as Glen Larson's lasting tribute to a Cylon from Battlestar Galactica (the flashing red lights.)

Michael Knight and KITT take part in a demolition derby, enough for the bad guys to take an interest in Michael and his wonder car.

Michael gets involved in a bar fight where he uses kung fu, breaks out of jail with the help of KITT and later jumps through a truck and then over another truck. Two unlucky thieves who try to steal KITT get ejected to the nearest cop car.

Michael realises he need Devon Miles to help him out as he gets revenge against the people who left him for dead.

Legendary cult actors John Quade and Charles Napier turn up as two hoodlums.

All the right ingredients

Warning: Spoilers
KNIGHT OF THE PHOENIX PART 2 is the second-ever episode of the popular KNIGHT RIDER TV series and much better than its predecessor. That's because this episode has all of the ingredients that made the show such a success, including car racing, crazy car stunts, humour between man and car, and even a bar-room brawl thrown in to the mix. Charles Napier turns up as a hoodlum, David Hasselhoff is alternatively tough and wounded, and KITT steals the show.

House of the rising Sun

Seriously Michael should have known better, has anything good ever happened in a bar called the house of the rising Sun? Decent acting and car escapades.

Warning: Spoilers
You've got to love this show. From the theme music to the way over the top all action plot. Good guys v bad guys etc.

There is no subtly on display here, it's just 80s style entertainment.

Very enjoyable and hilarious in parts. Ejector seat on to the roof! Come on. No one survives a head on with a semi, lol!

All in a Day's Work

Warning: Spoilers
As Michael and KITT get to know each other there. They enter into a demolition race for charity and in the bar fight as Michael says he is trained in martial arts and kicks everybody butts.

He lands in jail and Devon his new boss and Kitt break him out. While trying to get on those who tried to kill him as a cop and the woman villain played by Phyllis Davis tries to do so again, it backfires. BTW she also along with the other villains killed Michael's PD partner there.

So it ends with them heading to prison or death. And Michaels and Devon go start of a beautiful relationship there. And a great start!
