I saw Motel Drive at the Tucson international film festival. It's a wonderful movie with an honest and touching view of life for people with significant housing, addiction and other challenges. The movie provides both a candid view of the struggles and challenges these people face/endure as well as showing a very human portrait of a few of these individuals over the course of approximately 9 years.
The director provides both a professional and very human understanding as well as the societal factors impacting those who society would rather not see or only dehumanize instead of understanding or even acknowledging their lives.
Highly recommend!
