In my experience respect is something to be earned
This show EARNED my respect a long time ago!
How they develope Crosshair as a character deserves an award for best writing and character development. This is NOT debatable!!!
Another award has to be won for the BEST life lessons entertainment media ever has given to humanity. The Clone Wars invented this, The Bad Batch continues this legacy. Kids have to watch this show, because it's not just entertaining it is valuable for their education and development. You can critizise Lucasfilm for what they have done with Kenobi, the sequels and shows like Resistance and Forces of Destiny but ehat they have done with The Clone Wars/The Bad Batch is priceless for the human race.
So I wrote 600 characters already and have not even started to speak about the episode!
But I do not want to spoiler anything! To understand what I mean with all the praise, take a look at Crosshair's development from season 1 until now. Just think about the decisions he made, how his opinion has changed and focus on his emotions. I promise you will be inpressed of the complexity and greatness!
Then interpretate this episodes story and take it to a larger scale. Can you compare the clones' situation with a group of people of the real world's people? Maybe world war veterans, that got sorted out because of their age and disability to fight again? There is a lot you can compare to, it was always one of the biggest strenghts of this franchise to use real historic events and implement them into the story because these events often are relevant today aswell.
So that had to be said and now I want to lose some words about the ending of this episode. Crosshair takes an important step to redemption in this emotional, powerful ending. It could not have been made better!
This show delivers again a 10/10 which is nowadays a very rare occasion so I am grateful that Dave Filoni still knows how to make Star Wars. The next weeks are going to be great because we coming to the season finale which will be extraordinary, that's for sure.
