The title tells you the location of this Lumiere Brothers film. Basically the camera is placed in the middle of the street where we get to see a streetcar as well as several people just walking around. If you're going to be watching these old actuality movies then you're going to already know that there isn't any sort of plot or anything like that. Instead we're basically just looking at a moment in time that was captured by the camera. I've always found these movies to be interesting because you get to see the type of things that were going on back in the day. This includes the type of clothing people are wearing or in this case an authentic streetcar in use.
