Double Dragon Neon is Radical
sonickick12230 April 2013
Double Dragon Neon is one of those games that is very fun to play with 2 people. For 10 dollars at XBLA and PSN, this is a super fun beat em up! WayFoward developed the game, which is a plus because they are very good at doing "retro" titles. The story is, a dude punches Marion in the stomach, kidnapped her, and Billy and Jimmy have to go rescue her, so nothing has really changed.. The game-play is just a standard beat em up... but it is pretty satisfying beating the crap out of people. You collect songs which give you more abilities and have their own theme, I'm not kidding. Speaking of music, the soundtrack is the best part of the game. It has remixes from the previous Double Dragon games, and has some 80's original tracks. The atmosphere is crazy 80's. but the voice acting is terrible. And to be honest, the terrible acting and dumb story works well... Because gaming is all about having a good time and having fun.The downside is that when people look the game up on Google, Mitch Dyer's Review from IGN will show up, and easily turn away players from this radical beat-em up. If you have 10 dollars and are ready for a good time, buy and download the title, grab a friend, and kick some ass with Bimmy and Jimmy. (haha)
