Other-worldly characters fight for the attention of a princess but she's having none of it.
This comedy short introduces some rather strange characters; Spektor is a lanky, green-faced guy with a large nose and Spuk is a short, pale-faced fellow with a turned-up nose. They appear to have magical abilities and some cunning tricks up their sleeves. The characters were inspired, in part, by the Commedia dell'arte; a troupe of players who traveled throughout Italy in the 16th century performing humorous scenarios between stock characters. Filmed on 16mm Kodak Vision filmstock with an Arriflex BL and sound recorded with an analogue Nagra 4S.
The film was initially assembled and edited on a Steenbeck table and then later finished off, with the addition of the effects shots, on an Edius workstation.
