During the sequence depicting the 1996 Australian Grand Prix at Melbourne, several shots from the 1994 Australian Grand Prix held at Adelaide are included, as well as other races from as late as 2006. There are also onboard shots of Michael Schumacher driving for both Ferrari and Benetton. The race is also implied to have been running for at least some time before Martin Brundle'a accident, which in reality occurred early in the first lap.
At 1Hr 35 mins the footage showing Ayrton Senna on lap 6 at Imola (Gran Premio Di San Marino) just before his fatal accident shows the date as May 4th 1994, this is incorrect, the date was May 1st.
Onboard footage of Ayrton Senna's McLaren at Monaco is wrongly attributed to the 1989 Grand Prix. Commonly mistaken for footage from 1988 or 1989, no onboard cameras were placed on either McLaren at Monaco until the 1990 Grand Prix when the popular onboard footage seen in the film was actually recorded.
In an early "newspaper clipping" montage, Tazio Nuvolari's name is misspelled.
In a late "newspaper clippings" montage (around the 1994 Imola weekend) Rubens Barrichello's name is misspelled.
