I have seen arrambam on the first day of its release, evening show. All i can say i was very much impressed. This movie once again like mankatha, gives a completely different experience on the whole. Coming to the lead actor, Ajith kumar has done exceptionally well. He looks so commanding in his negative shade at the first half, and equally compelling at the second half. His performance makes the movie a one to be remembered. Nayanthara has become a good actress in recent times, and has done a fantastic job. Arya though cheesy at some places, was mostly good throughout the movie, and gave a josh to it. Tapsee was pretty natural in acting, though it felt inappropriate at times.Atul kulkarni and rana did a very decent job. The main strength of the movie was vishnuvardhan's eye for style. The cinematography was gorgeous and the editing was as well. Now coming to the music, the songs were all exceptionally good to hear and were visualized spectacularly, but nothing really gets stuck in mind, to hum while we are going back home. The background music was very normal, just a racy beat, it looked as though they didn't want a theme music. The stunts in the movie, unlike other movies play a vital role, as this stirred up the audience so much, and it engaged us, the neutral audience too. The ending though could have been more taut and crisp, did justice to the film. Finally coming to the plot, its a very cliché one, but you never felt like it was boring or old or already used. The cinematography, the stylish presentation, the racy BGM, and ajith kumar's negative touch gave an entirely different feel. On the whole the movie was a wonderful experience. Its one of ajiths best movies...
So my final verdict is, even if you don't like action movies or serious movies or even ajith kumar, you can definitely watch it at least once. So i give it 9/10
