Benny Andersson talks about composing and how he started writing songs in his own band Hep Stars in the 60s. In the Sixties we also get to meet other songwriters such as John Sebastian in Lovin'Spoonful from and Gary Brooker who wrote A whiter shade of pale in Procol Harum. Like the Swedish group Tages, who were fierce competitors to Benny's Hep Stars.

Björn Skifs talks about the music styles soul and rhythm n' blues, which his own band Slam Creepers played in the 60s. In the Sixties report, we also get to meet Björn's foreign role models such as The Animals, where singer Eric Burdon is interviewed. Like the Spencer Davis Group, Otis Redding and Georgie Fame. Film director Lasse Hallström talks about pop in film and television in the sixties and how he himself started his career by filming rock stars such as Jimi Hendrix and The Hollies when they visited Sweden. In the Sixties report we also get to meet others he filmed such as The Mascots, Paul Jones and The Hounds. A very rare Beatles interview by the artist Ardy Strüwer is also promised.
